Corporate Stakeholders Buying

SEP’s mission is to facilitate partnering between substantial corporations sensitive to societal needs; and school districts that have demonstrated eagerness to employ energy efficiency measures, but require capital to further their goals. SEP has determined that critical stakeholders on the corporate side include entities within, but not limited to, the following categories.

Clean Skies Certificates for Education

School Energy Partners markets Clean Skies Certificates (CSCs) for Education generated by School Energy Efficiency Development (SEED) Program energy projects. For the first time, this allows school districts to monetize their energy efficiency efforts--and provide a unique opportunity for corporations to enjoy a triple dividend for their shared value commitment: brand enhancement, carbon footprint offset, and potential charitable contribution deduction for education.

Solves Funding Crisis

Business prospers when societal needs are strategically connected to driving forward.

“Corporate sustainability contributes directly to business value, whether through revenue generation, cost control, risk management or long-term value creation. Sustainability should therefore be a strategic issue for any organization.” [Sustainability performance management: How CFOs can unlock value. (Accenture and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, September 2011).]
